The Australian Maritime College and UTAS will host national and international experts in the field of fluid mechanics when it holds the 18th Australasian Fluid Mechanics Conference (AFMC) in December 2012.
This conference will be the first of the series to be held biennially under the auspices of the AFMS. The 2012 conference also marks the 20th anniversary of Tasmania first hosting the AFMC in Hobart in 1992.
