11th Annual Teaching Matters Conference

Sustainable Futures: Considering Sustainability Across the Learning and Teaching Divide

Teaching Matters is the major showcase for learning and teaching at UTAS. The conference provides an opportunity for all staff to share practice, showcase and discuss ideas and innovations, recognise success and engender enthusiasm for excellence in learning and teaching. The conference covers four key sub-themes: sustaining community; sustaining curriculum; sustaining campus life; and sustaining culture.

Submissions are now open for `Showcase' and `Pecha Kucha' (20 slides shown for 20 seconds each) presentations under each of these four sub-themes. Please visit the Teaching Matters submissions page for more information about this year's presentation formats, key submission dates and to access the presentation proposal form.

The Teaching Matters program is designed to allow you to move between a variety of sessions, talk to presenters, and build networks in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Catering and transport are provided. Please visit the Teaching Matters web site for general information about the conference and the registration process.
