Scientists from the Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre will discuss the latest sea level rise science and how sea level rise planning allowances can be estimated for coastal locations around Australia, including Tasmania.
The seminar will include a demonstration of the sea level rise decision-support tool developed by the ACE-CRC and designed to assist coastal managers assess the level of future risk under conditions of a rising sea level and plan accordingly.
A light lunch will be provided on arrival at 12 noon.
