The Arts in conversation is just that – an afternoon with presentations, an open forum and a relaxed social event to unwind with. If you work in the Arts or work in another sector but want to work with artists, this is a great opportunity to learn about services and support for the Arts, share your ideas and meet and new people working in this area. This event is free but spaces are limited so RSVP is essential. You may choose to RSVP for one event or for the whole afternoon.

Art Organisations Present:

What are some of the services available for NW artists?

UTAS is proud to host four presentations from organisations offering assistance to the Arts in the North West Region:

  • Arts Tasmania & arts@work
  • Australia Business Arts Foundation
  • Tasmanian Regional Arts
  • Tasmanian Writers Centre

PRESENTATIONS WILL BE HELD 12.30 – 1.45PM

Crossing Over:

How can the Arts create opportunities for other sectors?

Are you an artist working with community? Do you work for other sectors such as Education, Health, Tourism or Environment and want to work with the arts? Do you have any thoughts on what makes a good arts project, or do you work in this area and wonder what training or support there is for artists working with people in the community? This is an open space forum which explores the barriers and opportunities for the Arts and other sectors to work together.

THE OPEN FORUM WILL BE HELD 2.15 – 4.45PM
