Three great opportunities to bring together teachers, educators, parents, community groups and everyone interested in what education for sustainability can teach our young children. These are 'how to' workshops for networking and showcasing projects. Links will be made to the National Quality Standard, the EYLF and the Australian Curriculum.
Facilitators Assoc Prof Julie Davis (QUT) and Assoc Prof Nadine McCrea (UNE) are two of the most esteemed and practical researchers and writers in the field of early childhood education for sustainability (ECEfS).
There will be three workshops in Tasmania.
Hobart
Thursday 3rd May 4.00 pm (for 4.30) - 6.30pm
Bridgewater LINC/Child and Family Centre Green Point Road, Bridgewater (plenty of parking)
Cost $25 ($15 students and pensioners) to cover materials and catering
Friday 4th May 4.00 pm (for 4.30) - 6.30pm

Note, that additional hands-on workshops will be offered at the Launceston event.
