The Denison Debate series provides a forum for more open and vibrant Tasmanian conversations about ideas and values in our society and is hosted by the Inglis Clark Centre for Civil Society.
Tasmanians can’t seem to agree on the state of our State. Do globally-noticed innovations like MONA herald a brave new world of social, economic and cultural possibility? Or are we stuck in the mud and mores of the past, congenitally dependent on the public purse, and destined for more or worse of the same? When or what’s The Tasmanian Moment?
Associate Professor Natasha Cica, Director of the Inglis Clark Centre for Civil Society, will be in conversation with:
George Megalogenis will be signing copies of his recent book, The Australia Moment. Copies of the book will be available to purchase on the night.
