During Research Week you will be able to attend a variety of educational seminars, workshops and events aimed at showcasing some of our talented UTAS researchers and raising awareness of the services and support available from the Division of Research Services.

We hope that Research Week 2012 will encourage co-operation and collaboration, lead to successful research outcomes, promote a culture of research excellence and raise awareness of the range of services and support available.

With an overarching theme of Research Excellence, the objectives of UTAS Research Week 2012 are to:

• Raise the profile of UTAS research and celebrate UTAS' researchers;
• Promote the support and services available to UTAS researchers both internally and externally;
• Encourage the internationalisation of UTAS research;
• Develop UTAS research capacity of its Higher Degree Research students and their supervisors;
• Create and facilitate partnerships with business, industry, government and the community, which will create research opportunities for UTAS.
