The Art of Community Engagement - Burnie

The University of Tasmania and Ten Days on the Island present a series of public forums to talk all things art.

Start Date

23rd Mar 2017 5:30pm

End Date

23rd Mar 2017 6:30pm

Makers' Space, 2 Bass Highway, Burnie

How can art reflect the energies and values of a community? What does it really mean to be 'creative'? How can art have impact on the wider agendas of this island in particular?

The events bring together professional practitioners, researchers and interested community members to discuss and celebrate the many creative activities being pursued by communities across our creative island, the outcomes they achieve, and what to do next.

Creative, progressive communities will talk constructively and passionately about fine art, music, theatre, film, dance, design, futures, presents and dreams.
