With a passion for art, landscape, and conservation, Andrew and Diana Cameron of the Deddington property Marathon wished to gather a selection of artists to create a dialogue around their land and invite them to discover its diversity, complexity, and beauty. Over three years, these artists have been experiencing and responding to the landscape comprising of over 1400 hectares.

The Marathon Project is a convergence point of which the participants are initiating a conversation with the property, the ecology, the surrounds, the history, and the future of the site. The interplay of temporality and process through a durational experience is the curatorial foundation of the project, allowing the activation of site and practitioners.
