Take the opportunity to contribute to the health conversation with Health Box Stories! Enter our recording booth and tell us your personal health story: it can be whatever you like! Stories will be used to create a series of educational podcasts, allowing you to make an impact on your community.

Have you ever wanted to pass on your health wisdom, acquired through years of experience and insight? Well now’s your chance! Health Box Stories will run from 13-17 August during National Science Week at Hobart LINC.

The project is being run by research assistant Seonad Madden from the School of Health Sciences at University of Tasmania. The project involves the cooperation of several different teams across the University, not least of which is the design and construction of the “Health Box” by the School of Architecture and Design.

Participants are invited to enter the booth and create a 5-6 minute audio recording of their personal health story. It can be whatever you like, as long as it’s unique to you and relates to health! From here, a series of educational podcasts will be created-to the benefit of both project participants and subsequent podcast listeners.

You can help cultivate beneficial change by joining our Tassie community health discussion.
