The Business Development & Technology Transfer Office will be holding an event “Making your R&D Budget Stretch Further” which will aim to provide further understanding of the funding opportunities available to support industry-relevant R&D activities. The event will include presentations on:

  • R&D Tax Incentive presented by Holger Brand from AusIndustry;
  • Innovation Connections Programme presented by Jim Grigoriou, Research Facilitator at Business Foundations;
  • Accelerating Commercialisation Programme presented by Peter Batchelor, Commercialisation Adviser;
  • ARC Linkage Program presented by Damien Maurice, Scheme Leader, Office of Research Services.

You will also have an opportunity to hear from an Industry Partner on their experiences of partnering with UTAS.

If you are an academic at the University of Tasmania, we encourage you to invite your industry partners and contacts to attend this event to learn more about how they can become involved in research partnerships with the University of Tasmania.

There will also be an opportunity for networking and drinks following conclusion of the presentations.
